KRANJSKA GORA, HIT ALPINEA HOTELS, HOTEL KOMPAS 4*
\n<\/strong>Hotel Kompas, part of the Hit Alpinea hotel group, is the first to welcome you when you arrive in Kranjska Gora. Close to the centre of the village, a few steps away from the ski slopes in winter and the green slopes in summer, which invite to hikes or active experiences (e.g. the summer toboggan run Besna Pehta, the fairytale land of the seven Triglav fairytales, etc.), cycle paths that lead you safely along the entire Upper Sava Valley (also to Planica, Mojstrana, etc.).
\nThe hotel, one of the largest in Kranjska Gora, offers a comfortable stay and a relaxation centre. As part of the hotel group, you can also take advantage of the wellness and aquatic pleasures at the Aqua Larix centre in the neighbouring Ramada Resort Kranjska Gora Hotel.
\nThe hotel’s restaurant serves dishes with good local flavours and occasionally dishes with local provenance.<\/p>\n

\nKompas Relaxation Centre: indoor heated swimming pool (16×10 m, 28-30 \u00b0C), separate children’s pool with waterslide, whirlpool, relaxation room, outdoor terrace.
\nWellness centre: 2 Finnish saunas, an infrared sauna with beneficial effects on the musculoskeletal system, a Turkish sauna and a cooling pool.
\nThe Aqua Larix Water Park (at the neighbouring Ramada Resort Hotel) has more than 400 m\u00b2 of water surface and offers an indoor pool (30 \u00b0C) and a whirlpool (36 \u00b0C).<\/p>\n

WINTER ACTIVITIES<\/strong> – SKI RESORTS<\/a>
\nThe cable cars and ski runs (approx. 25 km of runs) are strung along the slopes of the Vitranec from Kranjska Gora to Planica, at altitudes ranging from 800 m to 1215 m above sea level. A system of 6 chairlifts and 13 lifts will take you to your dream run. Additional skiing terrain is available from the starting points in Mojstrana and Rate\u010de.
\nThe ski resorts are family and beginner-friendly, and there are always excellent ski schools and ski instructors on hand.<\/p>\n

There is an extensive network of cross-country skiing<\/a> trails (approx. 40 km). Kranjska Gora and its surroundings offer daily groomed cross-country skiing trails suitable for beginners as well as for more experienced cross-country skiers.
\nYou can enjoy cross-country skiing at the Rate\u010de-Planica Ski and Cross-Country Ski Centre, or if you don’t mind the exertion of recreation, you can continue on to Tamar from below the Plani\u0161ka velikanka. Spruce trees dressed in winter coats will accompany you all the way to the final stop, the mountain hut in Tamarje.
\nCross-country skiing trails are also available in the Martuljek Forest, Mojstrana and Zgornja Radovna, provided there is sufficient natural snow.
\nFor those who like cross-country skiing at night, there is a floodlit cross-country ski slope behind Hotel Kompas.<\/p>\n
